I really don’t understand people who are against the war in Iraq. It makes no sense to me at all. Okay, first, we won–so that pretty much takes care of the “what if we lose” argument. Plus, the losing side was a combination of serial rapist/mass murderer/child abuser/psychopath/terrorist supporter.

There frankly isn’t any way to be against the war and not be a complete nutjob, if you ask me.

It was worth the war just to stop this from happening (thanks to Instapundit for running this). Here’s the money quote, from a Louisiana Judge sent to Iraq to help with the rebuilding:

When we left mid June, 57 mass graves had been found, one with the bodies of 1200 children.... I have seen the machines and places of torture. I will tell you one story told to me by the Chief of Pediatrics at the Medical College in Basra. It was one of the most shocking to me, but I heard worse. One of Saddam's security agents was sent to question a Shiite in his home. The interrogation took place in the living room in the presence of the man's wife, who held their three month old child. A question was asked and the thug did not like the answer; he asked it again, same answer. He grabbed the baby from its mother and plucked its eye out. And then repeated his question.

Anyone who can read that, and then say “yes, but…”, strikes me as a soulless and senseless piece of human garbage. Not to be judgemental or anything…

The truth is that this war in Iraq has utterly exposed the Left in their vicious, hateful hypocrisy. (This means you, Gwynne Dyer, you vampire.) For all their muling and pants-wetting about Loving The Poor and Helping The Weak, all they really are is full of Hate: they hate America, they hate Bush, they hate civilization. It doesn’t matter to them that by winning this war, Bush has given to millions of Arabs the best chance for freedom that any Arab not born in the USA or Israel has ever had. It doesn’t matter to them that Hussein was the most depraved and evil megalomaniac since Castro (heh heh) or even Mao. All that matters to the Left is that America is Bad.

On behalf of millions of Iraqis who can now go to bed at night without fearing that the Government will rape their daughters and mutilate their sons, I say: up yours, you pinko freaks.
